• National Building Systems provides pin-connected trusses manufactured by Web Joist Northwest Corporation in Chehalis, Washington.   

• Web Joist Northwest Corporation has been manufacturing pin-connected trusses since 1976 and is the oldest continuously-owned manufacturer of pin-connected trusses in the country. 

• Pin-connected trusses are made with wood chords and steel tube webs that are joined together with steel pins.  This combination of wood, steel and pinned connection creates a truss that has superior long-term performance benefits when compared with similar size plate-connected trusses. 

• Pin-connected trusses can be manufactured in flat, tapered and pitched profiles; they are commonly used in commercial floors and low-sloped roof applications.
