• National Building Systems provides heavy timber trusses from Western Woodwright, our fabricator located in Boise, Idaho. 

• Heavy timber trusses are  manufactured with glue-laminated or solid-sawn lumber chords and webs connected together with bolted steel plates.  Depending on the desired  architectural appearance, the connections can be either exposed or  hidden.  

• Heavy-timber trusses are typically used in municipal and  institutional buildings, churches and custom homes.  Any project that desires an open ceiling showcasing impressive wood structural components is a good candidate for heavy-timber trusses.
